Our "Little Bean"

This is our beautiful Little Bean (name changed to protect the .... we'll say innocent)

Little Bean came to us at 3 days old, weighing in at 4 lbs 13 ozs on September 28, 2006. We were her foster parents through our city's Department of Social Services. We could hardly believe how tiny, beautiful and delicate she was. We loved her with our whole hearts, even though we knew that she may not be able to be ours forever. Every child deserves a family, every child deserves a mom and dad, every child deserves to be treasured, no matter for how brief a time. Through the grace of God, many tears, many moments of almost having to say good bye, many court dates, she finally became an official part of our family forever on December 14th, 2007.

Bean is a funny little girl. When she laughs she gets wrinkles in the middle of her nose. She wants to buckle her own seat belt, buckle, unbuckle, buckle... She loves to follow her older sister around everywhere. She despises being told no. She loves her blankie, and likes to chew on the corner. Whenever she eats candy, the drool just POURS from her mouth. She loves to take her diaper off in the bed. She loves to dance. She does not like to have her hair done, unfortunately, she has a lot of it. She loves cheese and turkey. She is a light, and a gift. We adore our Little Bean, and thank God for her, every day.

Little Beans's life verse:
The Lord your God is with you,
he is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
he will quiet you with his love,
he will rejoice over you with singing.
Zephaniah 3:17
